PSR is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to address existential threats such as nuclear weapons and climate change. With a strong health-focused voice, we have provided a critical perspective on these issues for over 60 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a climate of resilience, accountability, and scientific integrity within the organization.
  • Embed equity and justice values in our programs and external relationships.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to advance our mission.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors and staff to drive organizational growth and impact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and community leaders.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a senior leadership role in a nonprofit, governmental, or private sector organization.
  • Strong understanding of the intersection of nuclear weapons and environmental harm with other social justice issues.
  • Proven track record of leading DEIJ initiatives and promoting equity and justice within an organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive organizational growth and impact.
