Job Description
Our client is looking for a Resident Inspector for the inspection of Gas Turbine Generator Package. This contract would potentially start in June and continue until the end of 2025.
Qualifications
- Academic Qualification: Minimum of a high school diploma / Associates is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years' experience of quality inspection in the manufacturing of Gas Turbine control system and Electrical Generator of Gas Turbine Generator package.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of Electrical and Instrument design engineering drawings and data sheet.
- As a minimum, good knowledge of GAD, electrical schematic diagram, wiring diagram, one line diagram, engineering data sheet.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding on Factory Acceptance/Performance testing requirement and the reporting processes including document review.
- As a minimum, good knowledge of Inspection reports, Material certifications, Inspection release note.
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge in interpreting IEC and IEC for the installation and inspection of Ex certified equipment for hazardous location.
- Work schedule is 8 hours/day - 6 days a week if possible.
- Per diem will be considered if the successful candidate is not local.
- Pay rate: ~ 50/hour.
