The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success driving revenue, winning new business, and leading a team. They will manage a team of Account Executives to help them deliver on their goals while fostering career development. They must have a strong command of the digital ad industry inclusive of both local and national ad agencies and clients. They must be a highly effective communicator (orally and written), be able to quickly analyze trends in data, and be able to successfully manage multiple priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue by establishing relationships across holding company and independent agencies, fortune 500 brands, and local clients
- Hit and exceed sales goals
- Proactively identify opportunities for creating new and impactful relationships
- Develop robust pipeline, category, and territory strategies
- Deliver marketplace feedback and client challenges internally to help improve sales products and develop new solutions
- Serve as an ambassador for the CHSN brand and mission in market, clearly explaining our unique value proposition and platform
- Identify, monitor, and accurately forecast sales activity
- Use knowledge of the relevant market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
- Effectively problem-solve and manage both client and internal customer needs
- Work closely with GM Partnerships & Digital Integrations to lead and manage Sales team providing goal setting, guidance, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities and career development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to hit and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics including optimization of campaigns (programmatic and direct)
- Effectively communicate analytical findings and insights to internal and external clients through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization, promoting the use of analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Promote and sustain a positive work environment
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital sales or sports related sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrated experience in developing and growing a sales team
- Proven experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong business acumen and high integrity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will launch in October across multiple platforms. The network will air more than 300 live Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox games annually and include pre- and postgame coverage while showing multisport programming 24 hours a day. CHSN will broadcast from studios located in both Chicago's United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field. The network will start airing Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games in October, showing White Sox games beginning in 2025.
