Job Overview

The Director, Sales Operations Strategist is a pivotal role at Copado, driving operational excellence within the sales organization and ensuring strategic alignment with marketing and BDR operations. This role demands a blend of strategic planning, sales process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance sales effectiveness.
  2. Design, implement, and regularly review territory management strategies, including developing and managing the Sales Rules of Engagement (RoE).
  3. Lead initiatives to ensure the integrity and accuracy of sales and marketing data, leveraging data analytics platforms and sales enablement tools.
  4. Continuously refine the sales process and develop detailed sales playbooks, fostering a culture of excellence.
  5. Assist in the planning and modeling of incentive compensation structures for the Revenue organization, including partnering with Finance to coordinate plan documentation, distribution, and administration.
  6. Oversee the creation of detailed sales and marketing reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  7. Ensure seamless operational support for marketing and BDR teams, facilitating collaboration across sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  8. Lead and develop the Sales Operations team, mentoring high-performing teams and promoting professional development.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field. An MBA is preferred.
  2. Must have 8+ years of experience in sales operations within a high-growth technology company.
  3. Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce), data analytics platforms, and sales enablement tools.
  4. Exceptional analytical abilities with a track record of leveraging data to drive strategic decisions.
  5. Proven leadership skills with experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and alignment.
