The Retailer Experience Specialist will support daily operational activities of the Retailer Experience Team, be a process and product subject matter expert and work closely with Retailer Experience Supervisor. The Retailer Experience Specialist will identify areas of improvement and work to develop standard operating procedures for the team, support RECs [Retailer Experience Coordinators], be point of contact for cross functional internal teams, and provide assistance to Renewal by Andersen retail partners externally.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day to day working direction to Retailer Experience Coordinators.
  • Be a subject matter expert for RECs and external business partners; utilize business knowledge to find acceptable resolution for emerging issues.
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to relay pertinent information to business partners both internally and externally.
  • Develops and implements communication strategies to promote understanding of department processes to cross functional teams.
  • Design and deliver standard operating procedures focusing on order processing and retailer experience processes for the team.
  • Provide working direction to RECs, focusing on reporting, order processing policies, and ensuring expectations are met.
  • Train RECs, retailers, and business partners on standard work updates and/or new processes.
  • Resolve escalated issues and support RECs with retailer concerns/communications.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through formal and informal continuing education opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 6-7 years of leadership experience or an equivalent combination of demonstrated performance, skills and expertise.
  • Technical skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Data Analytics.
  • Customer Knowledge - understanding the needs, preferences, demographic data, trends and issues affecting our various markets, market segments, and customers.
  • Organization/Business Unit Knowledge - understanding of the strategy, structure, culture, systems, processes, information sources, and interdependencies of our company.
  • Knowledge of Products/Services - understanding the technical aspects of our products and services including features, benefits and uses or applications.
  • Problem Solving/Opportunity Identification - using participative processes to define problems, identify causes, and select solutions that optimize performance and stakeholder ownership and acceptance.
  • Creative Thinking - perceiving things in new and unfamiliar ways, making unusual associations and generating original ideas, new possibilities, and new or improved solutions.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
