About the position

Pando Telecom Co. seeks an experienced Low Voltage technician. As a member of the Pando Team, you can expect to support the installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of various low voltage deployments. Testing, troubleshooting, assessment, and analysis are within your skillsets.

What you will be doing

  • Install and configure low voltage systems, following manufacturer specifications, industry, and company standards.
  • Conduct testing, routine maintenance and quality assurance checks to verify the proper functioning of systems.
  • Ensure all installations meet safety, compliance, and company standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed records of all installations, as-built drawings, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Provide clear explanations of installed systems and educate clients on their operation.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  • Travel to various locations

Who is the qualified candidate

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in the low-voltage industry
  • Experience deploying, installation and maintaining WIFI networks
  • A tenacious self-starter who is driven to deliver top performing systems
  • Consistently well-spoken and dedicated to the project mission
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of cabling and installation practices
  • You take ownership of situations and you never assume others will handle open items
  • Priority of time management and organizational tasks
  • Willingness to learn new skills, software, database, and technologies
  • Experience working remotely and in an office environment

Some basic requirements

  • A valid drivers license
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening upon request
