Position Overview

A Field Service Technician is required to deliver expert and effective installations of integrated security solutions for corporate clients across various locations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, connect, and evaluate equipment in accordance with established standards and regulations
  • Instruct junior technicians on company protocols and installation methods
  • Collaborate with Field Engineers during system initiation
  • Provide daily updates to Project Management regarding project progress
  • Ensure project completion and handover to the client
  • Diagnose, repair, and test systems in line with specifications
  • Keep precise records and documentation
  • Maintain necessary professional certifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 2 years of experience in the electronics industry
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Willingness to learn system programming

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the electronics sector
  • Certifications from security manufacturers
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, climb, and utilize hands
  • Specific vision capabilities are necessary
  • Occasionally required to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

  • May encounter outdoor weather conditions
  • Work will take place at job sites and occasionally in an office setting
  • Noise levels are typically moderate
