Office Appliance Repairer

This position is responsible for repairing and servicing office machines such as adding, accounting, and calculating machines, using hand tools, and power tools. This worker operates machines to test moving parts and to listen to the sounds of machines to locate causes of trouble, disassembles machines, and examines parts, such as gears, guides, rollers, and pinions for wear and defects. Repairs adjusts or replaces parts, and cleans oils moving parts. This person may give instruction in operation and care of machines to machine operators, or assemble new machines.

Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Other Responsibilities:

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies about his/her job

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Two (2) years of job-related experience including basic computer operations skills is required. Must be able to process routine reports.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
