We are currently seeking an experienced Purchaser/Estimator with expertise in ECI MarkSystems and Excel to join our team. If you have a strong background in residential construction purchasing and estimating, we want to hear from you

Job Description:

The Purchaser/Estimator will play a critical role in our construction projects, responsible for accurately estimating costs and procuring materials. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in ECI MarkSystems and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects.
  • Procure materials and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchases and estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule.
  • Utilize ECI MarkSystems and Excel for estimating and purchasing activities.
  • Analyze and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Purchaser/Estimator in residential construction.
  • Proficiency in ECI MarkSystems and Excel is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
