The product manager role supports the myUL product which is a secure source site that gives our customers an enhanced level of access into their UL Solutions project files, such as product information, documents and services. Having easy access to this in-depth information empowers them to make decisions that will positively impact your bottom line. By providing our customers with better visibility and insight, our client portal can help advance the pace of innovation, drive growth and increase speed to market.

  • Create Requirements in Aha, Create Features in Azure Dev Ops and Collect and validate user persona's.
  • Product management tools - product design (e.g. Invision, Zeplin, Figma), development task management (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps), documentation and knowledge (e.g. Confluence, SharePoint), collaboration (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Slack), roadmap and portfolio management (e.g. Aha Daptiv).
  • Should have high level understanding of front end and back end (.net & Angular) and communicate clearly with PO, Architects, Project/Program Manager and Developers.
  • Evangelize and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals internally across the organization, as well as externally with client users.
  • Support an efficient cross-functional matrix structure to enable effective product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to evaluate market needs against UL's and competitors' unique abilities to address them is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree (Equivalent to bachelor's degree) in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline
  • 5 years or more of related discipline experience or demonstrated competency.
  • Working with remote teams is highly preferred.
  • Facilitation skills - ability to influence and lead small to medium groups of internal and external stakeholders towards desired outcomes in order to meet business objectives.
  • Support an efficient cross-functional matrix structure to enable effective product development lifecycle.
  • Formal training and/or certification in Product Management is a plus.
