Description:

The Oracle Payments team is looking for a Project Manager to oversee key initiatives that will drive increase revenue and efficiency. While the projects will vary, they will primarily fall into two categories: the expansion of Oracle Payments into new markets/geos and process improvement initiatives.

This individual will work with internal stakeholders to establish clear project plans, drive ownership and completion of tasks, and mitigate risk as it appears. This individual will need to be comfortable working with multiple projects at once, and will be required to provide updates to sponsors and executives on a regular basis.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing oversight, management, and reporting on highly complex projects - New-market and process improvement projects are non-standard and highly complex. This individual will have multiple projects ongoing at one time.
  • Risk Mitigation - Identify risk proactively and take an active approach to mitigation in order to keep project timelines on-track
  • Primary contact for Project Sponsors - Provide updates to project sponsors, including executive management, and maintain relationships through transparency and consistency.

Work in this role will be non-routine and highly complex. Their will be multiple spnosors, stakeholders, and project contributors in each project. This individual will be required to apply consistent pressure on project players to ensure projects remain on track and any risk is identified and mitigated.

  • 7 years of project management experience preferred
  • Experience managing projects in highly complex technical industries
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an area related to Project Management
  • Strong communication skills, including with executive management

Responsibilities

Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

US: Hiring Range: from $84,300 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
