Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Field Services (EFS) team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and implementing installation projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to job sites to assess project requirements and estimate labor, material, and subcontract costs.
  • Collaborate with the Field Service Manager and Sales team to identify potential opportunities and develop customer proposals.
  • Prepare resource estimates and schedules for management purposes, including selecting vendors and preparing lists of required materials and equipment.
  • Plan and execute assigned field service projects, including procurement of manpower, tooling, materials, and equipment.
  • Translate EFS orders into sequential work schedules and review and adhere to detailed schedules to meet forecasted completion dates.
  • Manage field service projects onsite, including supervising and training employees, maintaining tooling inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Process and submit payroll and expense reports, as well as timely payment of company credit cards.
  • Provide annual evaluations of crew members and weekly reports to the back-office.
  • Ensure project quality meets ISO requirements and maintain personal contact with customers to assist with inquiries and troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of heavy machinery mechanical installations and rubber processing machinery.
  • OSHA 10 minimum required; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Intermediate computer and word processing skills, including Microsoft Office and Project.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and passport.
  • Ability to travel on short notice and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
