Our line cooks prepare a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees according to the guests' order and will work closely with the front-of-the-house teams to ensure each food order is of the highest quality and freshness when it is delivered to the table.

We are looking to hire multiple cooks who are passionate about the culinary arts to join our culinary team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen

Your Role:
Leads by example and masters both the hot and cold food item production.

Must be able to read recipes and follow measurement instructions accurately.

Must be able to effectively communicate with all team members.

Consistently practice safe and sanitary food handling techniques.

Maintain workstation and equipment safety and cleanliness.

Apply basic knife skills required for preparation of hot and cold foods.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment.

Ability to operate kitchen power equipment.

Ability to utilize cutting instruments.

Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 40 lbs

(NOTE:

kitchen equipment and food and non-food items).

Ability to effectively communicate in the English language.

Ability to work any assigned shift/work schedule.

Cook II $17-$18

Cook III $19-$20

Qualifications:


Successful candidates for this role will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong desire to learn, to develop skills and work with the culinary leadership team to create menus which reflect seasonal availability and concept of the restaurant.

Previous experience working in a professional kitchen in a culinary position.


Knowledge of kitchen sanitization practices, safety measures, and a variety of cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, broiling, deep frying, smoking, and baking.

Previous experience working under pressure in a high-volume environment.

Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Keen attention to detail and passion for quality products.

Active Washington food handler's card.
