Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Boyne Mountain Resort. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in assisting with food preparation, while developing your culinary skills and contributing to the success of our resort.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare cold entrees, salads, and desserts according to food handling guidelines, recipes, and cooking procedures.
  • Perform duties and closing procedures, including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and complete all related trainings.
Requirements
  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • You must possess ServSafe Certification or obtain it upon hire.
