Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook II to join our culinary team at Tamarack Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes and yield guides, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure smooth service during peak periods.
  • Minimize waste and maintain controls to achieve forecasted food costs.
  • Review work status and follow up on actions required with the Head Cook.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a minimum formal education of a high school diploma.
  • Any required certification to handle food, such as food safety training.
  • Excellent customer service focus and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on quality and production levels. You must be able to execute precise knife skills, work proficiently in entry-level stations, and maintain the quality and consistency of food as set by The Lodge.
