NMC Cat is looking for a Rental Setup Specialist to coordinate the rental sales/support services by determining customer rental needs and handling all corresponding rental reservations, deliveries and set-up of events. This position coordinates and proactively ensures that the Power, HVAC and Air Compression equipment is kept rental-ready by playing a lead role in the overall attainment and execution of rental jobs and rental equipment condition.

You'll be delivering and setting up equipment on trailers to customer locations and ensuring the customers are completely satisfied. You'll also need to pick up equipment and bring it back to our facility. At times, you'll be relied upon to assist with organizing and readying the equipment at our facility so we're ready to serve the customer when called upon. We're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge and a willingness to learn our products who thrives to satisfy the customer. There is some on-call, weekend and after-hours work due to the needs of the customer.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES*:

Delivers and stages rental equipment for all rental jobs ensuring jobs are appropriately set up with required cable, distribution, ducting, hose, pumps, etc. according to rental contracts. Manages job set up, execution and dismantlement. Coordinates transportation of equipment to and from job site.

Inspects and ensures equipment is well maintained, tested and rent-ready. Schedules needed maintenance and repair to ensure maximization of uptime. Works with NMC Service Managers to establish economical rental maintenance costs.

Complete all daily event set-ups, technical requirements and last minute changes to rentals. Inspect all equipment for proper functioning before set-up is complete. Ensures COD accounts are collected and maintained throughout rental agreement period.

Assists customers with rental inquiries by capturing critical customer information. Recommends rental products and services to existing and potential customers. Maintains general knowledge of rental equipment allowing for easy recommendations to meet customer need.

Provides direction to yard coordinator regarding daily activities of various jobs and rental delivery/pickup.

Provides inventory control management on machines and bulk inventory. Manages fleet by regularly reconciling computer vs. physical inventory and solving any discrepancy.
