Job Overview

Position: Parts & Inventory Specialist

Type: Entry-Level, Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Compensation: $20 - $30 per hour plus bonuses, commensurate with experience.

The Parts & Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting clients and service personnel in locating necessary components for their machinery. This position involves generating and dispatching quotes to clients and managing purchase orders effectively. Additionally, the specialist is responsible for organizing and overseeing the logistics of shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing all items procured from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incoming parts inquiries from clients via phone and email, preparing quotes, and entering customer orders.
  • Conducting research to identify parts for team members and clients.
  • Supporting the service team with parts for scheduled jobs.
  • Preparing parts for daily service assignments.
  • Receiving parts returned from service orders and ensuring they are restocked for future use.
  • Managing warehouse and inventory control.
  • Facilitating shipping and receiving tasks as required.
  • Assisting in unloading and organizing stock orders.
  • Updating customer information and assets in the CRM software.
  • Directing qualified prospects to the appropriate territory sales engineer for equipment, service, and rental opportunities.
  • Demonstrating effective time management skills to complete daily tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain a positive demeanor while delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly over the phone.

Educational Background:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Training: On-the-job training provided.
