Insider Risk and Counterintelligence Analyst Principal

Overview:
This role is the second-in-command, reporting directly to the Insider Risk and Counterintelligence Program Manager. The primary responsibility involves performing initial triage and analysis for investigations and due diligence, focusing on insider risk and counterintelligence concerns.

Responsibilities:
* Act as the initial triage analyst for insider risk and counterintelligence investigations
* Utilize User Activity Monitoring (UAM), User Behavior Analytics (UBA), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and other data sets and tools to analyze technical and behavioral indicators
* Conduct analysis, providing assessments of known and emerging threats and vulnerabilities discovered, whether internal or external
* Identify critical asset and protection needs
* Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures, ensuring they incorporate best practices for mitigating insider risks
* Write clear and concise analytical and intelligence reports and present findings orally to a range of business teams
* Assist in providing organizational security awareness training to relevant audiences
* Maintain a working knowledge of the latest tactics, techniques, and trends related to corporate espionage, insider risks, and industry technology to advance investigations

Desired Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience with UAM, UBA, DLP, and other technical data sets and open-source tools for forensic analysis
* Demonstrated ability to apply technical solutions to assess individual and group vulnerabilities
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative problem-solving approach
* Advanced open-source research skills, including deep and dark web
* Preferred experience in government or private sector security (or intelligence) analysis experience
* Preferred experience in semiconductors or highly technical industries.
* Open to diverse candidates who may not meet all desired qualifications but demonstrate a fast-learning ability and willingness to grow

Typical Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of related experience; or Master's Degree with 4 years of related experience; or Associate's Degree with 10 years of related experience; or 16 years of experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
