Responsibilities

The Substance Use Navigator is responsible for interacting and working with the health care team and with patients in the hospital and Emergency Department to find and connect patients to drug treatment resources and outpatient clinic referrals.

Qualifications

  • One year recent drug treatment experience.
  • Two years experience in a drug treatment environment preferred.
  • Previous training and work in a drug treatment/alcohol treatment facility or clinic.
  • Associate degree.
  • Inpatient drug treatment experience.
  • Excellent communication skills ability to work with a difficult population and manage multiple priorities.
  • Recent inpatient hospital experience.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor Certified Addictions Counselor Certified Addiction Specialist Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor or equivalent preferred.

Pay Range

$ $35.34 /hour
