Your Challenge:

Reporting to the VP of Global Human Resources for Packaging and Color, you will be accountable for end-to-end HR leadership of the Esko Brands business, serving as a primary strategic business partner.

The Global Human Resources Business Partner/Director will be responsible for driving the strategic HR planning and execution aligned to global and regional business and HR priorities. As well as being accountable for partnering with key stakeholders to redesign the HR operating model, strengthen the process and technology infrastructure.

This role will interface effectively with relevant global business and HR leaders to maximize both global, regional, and local opportunities and create a high-performance working culture to enable the business to achieve its ambitious performance and people objectives.

As part of the Human Resources Leadership Team for Packaging and Color, this is a key role, that will also influence and shape the global strategic direction of the HR function which may include further evolution to the strategy, organization structure, and ways of working.

Location: Based out of Wood Dale, IL (1500 N Mittel Blvd). Hybrid – ideally 2 days a week onsite.

You will have the responsibility to:

  • Serve as lead HRBP for the Esko Brands senior leadership to provide the strategic leadership in organizational design, talent management and other key people initiatives; serve as subject matter expert to align people programs globally
  • Serve as an integrated part of the business, working with and influencing business leaders to make changes in structure or processes to support recent hypergrowth growth
  • Identify the need for HR programs / strategies to support business objectives and partner with HR COEs to deliver in the areas of organizational development, performance management, compensation, employee relations, training, and staffing
  • Provide input to design and drives execution of HR programs in accordance with Enterprise HR policies, procedures, and initiatives
  • Steer through change and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant HR or related bachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience
  • Strong track record in influencing and partnering with international HR team preferred
  • Be data driven in approach to analysis and decision making with the knowledge and ability to interpret and develop key insights from available data and drive strategy based on those insights
  • Strong work ethic and personal integrity; engender trust and influence all levels across matrix
  • Strong executive presence with ability to command respect and gain credibility through exercise of sound business judgment, clear decision-making, and excellent communication
  • Travel will be required
