Currently, we have an opening for a Procurement Analyst (full-time, exempt). The Procurement Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the acquisition of goods and services vital for our operational success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing Procurement Strategies:
    • Develop and execute effective procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficient purchasing while upholding quality standards.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management:
    • Identify, assess, and cultivate relationships with suppliers that yield mutual benefits.
    • Conduct a thorough vendor onboarding, evaluation, and auditing process.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms to secure optimal agreements.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Monitor stock levels to maintain optimal inventory.
    • Collaborate with the Accounting and Operations teams to forecast demand, ensure accurate inventory counts, and manage supply chain logistics.
    • Research and procure products, items, and services in accordance with project requirements.
  • Cost Management:
    • Analyze market trends and pricing to uncover cost-saving opportunities.
    • Implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses without sacrificing quality.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Reporting and Data Management:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management.
    • Reconcile and update systems related to inventory and financial transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
    • Knowledgeable in market research and data analysis.
