Job Summary (General Responsibilities):

The Social Commerce Manager is an integrated member of the Belkin Sales team with primary responsibility for the execution and success of the eCommerce business on the social commerce platforms, with primary focus on Tik Tok Shop.

This role requires a qualified, career-oriented individual. They must demonstrate good judgment in applying Belkin standards and best practices within the brand guidelines and digital objectives. Within this role they will be expected to demonstrate initiative to resolve issues and suggest creative, innovative and efficient solutions to achieve eCommerce objectives.

The Social Commerce Manager will have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of staff and learn new techniques quickly. They will be a key resource for other senior staff, providing strategic and operational input to projects as well as departmental development and growth.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Support the DTC strategy, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Drive online sales via Tik Tok Shop by optimizing site performance, affiliate marketing, user experience, and executing promotional campaigns.
  • Develop comprehensive analytics to track KPIs, providing actionable insights and share recommendations with cross functional teams.
  • Oversee the end-to-end Tik Tok Shop customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience, making recommendations for improving the user experience and improving traffic and conversion rates.
  • Work with product, digital marketing and supply chain teams to launch new products on time.
  • Lead weekly online sales performance calls with extended marketing and DTC teams to track progress and results.
  • Work with finance to forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margins and review performance.
  • Help manage the P&L, setting monthly, quarterly & annual budgets, while ensuring ROI on marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing, IT development, customer advocacy and supply chain, ensuring alignment and efficiency in all social commerce initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of Tik Tok Shop trends and emerging technologies, implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Be data-driven, capable of turning insights into clear and compelling action plans, aligning leaders and cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in managing TikTok Shop and/or other social commerce platforms (e.g. Instagram Shop, Facebook Shops), preferably selling consumer packaged goods. Experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in managing digital channels, including strategic planning, execution, and analysis of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Must have experience with TikTok Shop merchandising and/or other social commmerce platforms.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving online sales growth.
  • Proficiency with eCommerce platforms and related applications. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cross functionally.
  • Strong analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong reporting skills experience with Excel.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms a plus.
  • Experience with using off-the-shelf e-commerce, content management software (Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience a plus)
  • Excellent Working knowledge of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

Range for this position:

$85,000 to $100,000

Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered.
