Position SummaryThis role entails the development and execution of premier social media strategies specifically designed for the gaming community. Responsibilities include content creation, community interaction, and performance analysis across platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube, with the goal of enhancing brand visibility, user engagement, and organic growth.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with external agencies and internal teams to ensure social media initiatives align with broader marketing objectives. Regular performance reviews across all social channels and KPIs will be conducted to continuously refine social media strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in social media strategy within the gaming sector, hands-on experience in crafting engaging content, and managing social media accounts. Proficiency in analyzing social media performance and making data-driven decisions is crucial.
This creative individual must demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying attuned to social media trends.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the management of social media agencies.
- Coordinate with agencies to align social media strategies and campaigns with internal marketing goals, providing guidance and feedback to optimize performance and uphold the highest content standards.
- Regularly analyze and report on social media performance, offering insights and recommendations tailored to the gaming audience.
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for the gaming community across various platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Curate and manage diverse content (graphics, videos, copy) that aligns with marketing strategies and brand voice within the gaming niche.
- Manage one IC Social Media Manager, providing support and fostering their professional development through constructive feedback and guidance.
- Curate social media marketing plans for game launches and updates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with gaming influencers and brand ambassadors while staying current with trends and best practices in social media strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Paid Media, Partnership, Influencer, Community, and Product teams to ensure social media efforts support overall marketing and business objectives.
- Conduct social media account audits, providing research, analysis, and recommendations for improvement based on the target audience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in a social media strategy role or similar.
- 1+ years of management experience.
- Previous experience in the gaming industry is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and gaming trends.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools.
- Creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to the gaming community.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Experience in managing social media and creative agencies.
- Hands-on experience with social media operations and content posting.
