About the Financial Director Role

This key position will be pivotal in shaping financial strategies, fostering innovation, and overseeing change management initiatives to enhance growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include establishing a top-tier FP&A team to deliver robust analytics and ensure disciplined execution.

The role entails extensive interaction with diverse teams globally. The Director will lead strategic financial planning efforts, offering valuable insights to support effective decision-making.

This individual will have a vital role in communicating financial performance, opportunities, and risks to key stakeholders, including senior management and the broader organization.

The ideal candidate has a successful track record at an international level and is eager to mentor and cultivate a high-performing team while promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous enhancement.

Through the team, the individual will establish strong business relationships across the organization to ensure data-driven strategic business choices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to discover and implement inventive solutions for growth, improved decision-making, and efficiency enhancement.
  • Offer financial guidance for business functions, analyzing present and future profitability.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, providing financial insights to enable strategic decisions, evaluate investments, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of regular financial reports for the CFO/Leadership team.
  • Direct the team in delivering comprehensive financial analysis, including variance and trend analysis, to assess performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Continuously enhance financial planning processes, tools, and systems for increased efficiency, accuracy, and efficacy.
  • Develop intricate financial models to support strategic projects, providing additional guidance to project stakeholders, and assisting in implementation and progress tracking.
  • Engage in strategic project work related to i) data and reporting platform development, ii) initiative modeling and monitoring, iii) statistical modeling for scenario planning, and iv) other bespoke initiatives.
Key Qualifications
  • Demonstrated (15+ years) relevant experience in financial leadership roles, with a proven history of steering financial strategy, innovation, and disciplined execution.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; preference for MBA or advanced credentials.
  • Expertise in talent management, including team development and mentorship.
  • Thorough grasp of financial principles, accounting standards, and modeling techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical decision-making approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strategic thinker capable of offering forward-looking analysis and recommendations.
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions and influence decision-making at all organizational levels.

The salary range for this role is:
USD 100,000+.
