The Manager of Financial Reporting at our facility plays a key role in managing the preparation of internal and external financial reporting. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position involves overseeing the maintenance of the general ledger, chart of accounts, and integration of subledger systems. Collaboration with various departments to support financial data utilization is also a crucial aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements financial reporting governance and internal controls
  • Manages the compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assists in developing financial analysis in support of the monthly close process
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive financial reporting policy documents
  • Oversees the management of the chart of accounts and general ledger tasks
  • Manages a team and develops their skills to align with organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (Required) and Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of finance/accounting experience (Required)
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting practices and US GAAP regulations
  • Ability to solve complex problems and work in a fast-paced environment
  • CPA certification required
