Physical Requirements
Primarily a sitting desk position that occasionally requires walking to other buildings on campus. Some light lifting of 25 or fewer pounds for a ream of paper or supplies deliveries.

Shift
Primarily weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Job Summary
This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Finance in the College of Communication and Information. This individual will serve as part of a team in all centralized financial processes for the College.

This includes but is not limited to financial and payroll reconciliation on state, income, spending, endowment, agency, grant and enrichment accounts as well as recharge accounts; the procurement of travel services and reimbursements utilizing all UK systems and forms (Concur); interpreting and enforcing University policies and procedures, rules and regulations, and consistency with best practices; and actively participating in endeavors that continually improve the College.


Successful candidates must have ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment.

Must have demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, judgment and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Position requires proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ability to learn financial and HR functions with SAP.

Must have strong problem solving, follow-up, attention to detail, and planning and organizational skills. A high level of integrity, respect for confidentiality and diversity are all crucial attributes.

MS Windows, Excel, Word, Procurement Card policies and editing, SAP modules: FI, HR, GM, and MM. UK Business Procedures. Tableau reporting. Concur.
