Job Description

The successfully selected candidate will provide program support for all Health Sciences and Technology initiatives. Primarily, the incumbent will serve as an effective liaison with on and off campus contacts and conduct the activities of the office in a professional, organized, and efficient manner, handling confidential and sensitive matters with utmost discretion and a high level of attention to detail. This position will coordinate student placements for experiential learning. This includes both collegial and high school students. This position will also be a key partner for the IHSR and Summer Undergrad Research Fellowship (SURF) programs. Additionally, this position will provide administrative support for the iTHRIV Scholar Program, Visiting Scholar Program, and Symposium.

Required Qualifications

Significant experience providing administrative support to senior Demonstrated program or project management skills and/or experience. Demonstrated experience exercising sound judgment and complete discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive Proven success organizing and managing a large, complex Strong experience with computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, email, and calendar management applications; database Experience managing complex travel arrangements with a preference for overseas travel coordination Excellent communication and interpersonal Experience working in a demanding, fastpaced Available as needed to perform job duties beyond standard work Must be highly organized, detailedoriented and able to multitask in a fastpaced environment. Must anticipate deadlines and be able to meet them ahead of schedule, if needed. Bachelor's degree, or specialized training and significant experience equivalent to a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience providing high level administrative support in a medical Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) or Certified Administrative Professional (CAP). Experience in writing and editing administrative documents.
