As a Systems Development Engineer you will partner with 1P/2P/3P developers, Business Development and AWS Security to help bring amazing properties through launch and beyond for Amazon Games.

The ideal candidate will have great communication and prioritization skills with a clear focus on providing the best possible customer experience.

The ability to be self-directed, while still providing excellent service to partners, is critical.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you will be expected to:

  • Be a technical representative within Amazon Gamesfor third party titles.
  • Code and architecture reviews of second / third party titles.
  • Onboarding third party titles with internal services.
  • Provide general technical support for third party titles: e.g. load testing, bug fixing, and operational excellence.
  • Support integration within Amazon Games for second / third party titles.
  • Configuration and ownership of AWS service accounts, monitoring, and alarms.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
Preferred Qualifications
Key contributor to a production service built on AWS

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $103,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
