Job Title: Assistant Clinical Nutrition Manager

Location: Lifespan Health System - Rhode Island Hospital and Bradley Hospital in Providence, RI

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an organized and passionate Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our healthcare team at Lifespan Health System - Rhode Island Hospital and Bradley Hospital in Providence, RI. The Assistant Clinical Nutrition Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of clinical nutrition operation with a job scope to include clinical operations, human resource management of the clinical staff, quality integration and quality initiatives. Provides and coordinates CBORD training for all new and existing Room Service Hosts, Representatives and diet office staff within the Food and Nutrition Services Department to ensure that standards are met and maintained. Oversees CBORD Room Service and FSS Programs. Coordinates Diet Office/Call Center functions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists in directing the provision of medical nutrition therapy and the nutrition care process by supervising the activities of clinical dietitians, dietetic technicians, and clerical staff including nutrition screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation, education, and menu processing according to established departmental policies.
  • Assists in the selection, orientation and training, staffing and assignment of employees. Implements disciplinary actions when needed and completes performance appraisals per established policy. Assists with process to maintain employee motivation, training and development, and ensures compliance with established labor regulations, personnel policies and procedures.
  • Schedules clinical nutrition staff according to patient/client needs and budget allocation.
  • Inventories and orders nutritional supplements and enteral formulas.
  • Maintains CBORD Room Service and FSS systems on-site.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and current license in the state of Rhode Island
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of nutrition care processes, regulatory standards, and quality improvement methodologies
