Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Ortho Rhode Island. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will work closely with our experienced surgeons and clinicians to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons in the operating room, providing expert care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatments of orthopedic injuries and conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Consult with physicians as needed and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Provide therapeutic treatments, including medication management, injections, and physical therapy referrals.
  • Perform minor office and emergency room procedures, such as fracture reduction and laceration repair.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Valid Rhode Island license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in a fast-paced, dynamic clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work effectively in a team, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
