Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to therapeutic diet plans as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure food and beverages are served at the appropriate temperatures.
  • Deliver meals in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes.
  • Follow the daily nourishment list and stock nourishment stations accordingly.
  • Assist the culinary team in monitoring meal serving schedules.
  • Comply with sanitation and storage policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the dining director.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Capable of following both oral and written instructions.
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of supplies and equipment, ensuring the dining service areas are well-kept; perform regular inspections for sanitation and safety.
  • Possess patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, while being adaptable to the varying maturity levels of residents.
  • Willingness to explore new methods and principles, integrating them into existing dietary practices.
  • Ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
