Job Summary

  • Order Supplies: Order supplies and handle medication refills, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain.

  • Patient Empowerment: Encourage patient involvement in their healthcare, promoting patient-centered care and education.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing situations and prioritize work efficiently, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality and attend required training, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Supportive Role: May perform duties of Medical Secretary when needed, providing additional support to the clinical team.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Training and Experience: Completion of Medical Assistant Program or relevant experience, with national certification preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of dermatological procedures, ability to communicate effectively in English, emergency response and adaptability skills, and professional and effective communication skills.
  • Preferred Experience: Prefer one year of experience in a dermatology setting, familiarity with EMR and scheduling software.
