- Order Supplies: Order supplies and handle medication refills, ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate with patients, providers, and specialists, maintaining clear and effective communication channels.
- Patient Empowerment: Encourage patient involvement in their healthcare, promoting patient-centered care and education.
- Adaptability: Adapt to changing situations and prioritize work efficiently, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality and attend required training, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
- Supportive Role: May perform duties of Medical Secretary when needed, providing additional support to the clinical team.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Training and Experience: Completion of Medical Assistant Program or relevant experience, with national certification preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of dermatological procedures, ability to communicate effectively in English, emergency response and adaptability skills, and professional and effective communication skills.
- Preferred Experience: Prefer one year of experience in a dermatology setting, familiarity with EMR and scheduling software.
