An opportunity exists for a Channel Marketing Specialist in the Laboratory Products area of Thermo Fisher Scientific supporting our Global Channel Marketing team.

Discover Impactful Work:

The Channel Marketing Specialist for the Laboratory Product Group (LPG) will be responsible for driving North America marketing tactics through our key Independent Channel Partners. This candidate will coordinate and liaison with both external and internal cross-functional teams to facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective programs/campaigns leading to revenue, improved customer and growth in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to expand their knowledge in marketing.

A Day in the Life

  • Complete and measure sales marketing programs that align to LPG business priorities.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Business Unit Leaders within LPG to understand their key initiatives and develop regionalized marketing plans accordingly.
  • Identify, develop, and implement processes to enhance content at channel partners.
  • Deploy marketing tactics applying a multichannel approach including print, digital, social and sales channels with our distributors.
  • Run marketing operational activities for LPG, including maintaining a media calendar, handling an event list & tracking marketing spend.
  • Accomplish results while keeping all active projects well organized and optimized.

Keys to Success

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Marketing, Channel Management or Marketing Communications role.
  • Relevant eMarketing and CRM experience preferred.
  • Experience in web and social medial marketing preferred.
  • Experience with preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Highly organized and independent contributor.
  • Shows good judgment, remains flexible, and is able to quickly respond positively to evolving priorities and circumstances.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Travel up to 20% for work related activities.
