Opportunity Highlights:

  • SALES SUPPORT/TECHNICAL STRATEGY
    • Serve as Skillsoft's in-house workplace safety and health (including transportation, environmental, and security regulations) expert, supporting the company's global sales force in the positioning of the ESH Compliance Solution.
    • In role as workplace safety and health SME, serve as the central internal corporate resource for Sales Managers, Customer Sales Directors, Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Solution Consultants around Skillsoft's ESH Compliance product and strategy.
    • Cultivate the trust and confidence of C-level executives, corporate ESH managers, fleet managers, environmental managers, HR leaders, and other compliance and training professionals within Skillsoft's customer and prospect base through direct interaction, including on-site travel as necessary.
    • Maintain highest-level expertise on U.S. and international law related to ESH Compliance. Solution content products, including safety and health (electrical, hazardous materials, bloodborne pathogens, machine guarding, etc.), environmental (spill prevention and control, hazardous waste), transportation (Federal Motor Carrier, hazardous materials, defensive training), and workplace security (active shooter, emergency and disaster preparedness)
    • Enhance Skillsoft's position as a global thought leader in compliance training through white papers, newsletters, blog posts, user groups, and webinar events.
    • Drive positive cultural change in Skillsoft customers by guiding the development of best-in-class approaches for delivering compliance training and education to global employee populations.
    • Represent Skillsoft Compliance Solutions at Perspectives and industry events such as National Safety Congress and ASSE Safety Conference.
    • Liaise with corporate and product marketing to reinforce the value message of Skillsoft's compliance solution (external) and build/maintain key sales resources (internal).
    • Assist with development of new sales and marketing strategies and work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to provide product information for the production of literature, web-site information, and collateral material required to support the sales teams.
  • PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
    • Working within assigned budget, develop and maintain product roadmap for ESH Compliance Solution content.
    • Combine domain, technical writing, and instructional design experience to transform complex workplace safety and health concepts into relatable, job-relevant educational messages for employees.
    • Execute key functions in content development process flow including course planning, script writing/editing, casting, video directing, and content validation.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional team of content developers, instructional designers, customization project managers, application engineers, and contract negotiators to establish standardized processes and highest quality output.
    • Advise executive management on overall strategic direction of content and technology products based on industry and regulatory developments, market research, and customer input.
    • Oversee review/refresh cycle for training content products according to internal schedules and external legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments.
    • Establish partnerships with and coordinate efforts of outside content development partners and subject matter experts.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 12 years in compliance safety training
  • M.S. in Safety or Industrial Hygiene preferred but not required.

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $132,000 to $170,000 annualized.

We also offer participation in the Company Bonus Program and full benefits. The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
