Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Performs administrative activities in support of the Human Resources organization such as: Recruitment, on-boarding, benefits, employee relations, training, etc.
  • Works closely with HR Operations team in payroll, benefits/open-enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing employee morale events.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Performs HR clerical functions such as: photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; data entry; filing.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • HR Certification is a preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources highly preferred.
Experience:
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry highly preferred.
  • Experience in customer service highly preferred.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Strong sense of URGENCY.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and internet savvy.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
Physical & Environmental Factors:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate or loud. Also, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or to hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders] or have refugee or asylee status.

The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Pay Range: $22 to $26/hour
