SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, HWS Digital Operations will drive the strategic vision of Narrative Hotel Websites and manage the day-to-day operations. Hotel Websites include 8000+ hotels and 30 brands in the Marriott International portfolio. Core responsibilities of this role include internal and external stakeholder management, scoping projects and defining workflows, identifying and driving operational efficiencies, and mobilizing a team to execute the new build and maintenance requests for Narrative Hotel Websites. This role will support the growth, optimization, and maintenance of the hotel content experience for Narrative Hotel Websites and support the Director in implementing the content strategy vision, developing content guidelines, and overseeing the content management team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, related discipline, or equivalent experience/certification.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing and/or project management
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager strongly preferred; Salesforce and Microsoft Office are a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Owning Relationships and Communication

  • Works cross-functionally with the HWS Digital team, and across the broader Marriott Digital organization.
  • Establishes a close partnership with various enterprise and global teams, including HWS product team, GBAM, and Digital regional teams.
  • Manages vendor relationships.
  • Escalation point for client issues related to Narrative HWS product.
  • Crafts and delivers communication to key stakeholders.
  • Offers trainings, office hours, and project updates as appropriate.

Managing Team

  • Manages relevant project work and priorities of direct reports, contractors, and vendors as needed.
  • Monitors the work of contractors and vendor teams to ensure it is completed on time and meets standards/expectations. Holds vendors accountable; provides actionable recommendations for change should expectations not be met.

Managing Projects and Processes

  • Ensures program cost-recoverability. Tracks budget, compiles forecasts, and manages vendor billing.
  • Defines and maintains models to support staffing needs (hours and costs) and creates business cases for staffing expansion, distributed authoring opportunities, and other models to maintain growth and expansion of Narrative Hotel Websites.
  • Regularly reviews and refines processes and quality of work standards to ensure all projects continue to support overarching Marriott digital strategies, goals, and SLAs.
  • Manages special projects or pilots as needed.
  • Creates training guidelines and documentation as needed.

System and Tools

  • Skilled in AEM.
  • Masters Salesforce development concepts and workflows to better optimize client experience and operations workflows.
  • Tests and deploys new systems and tools to create efficiencies.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $190,154 annually.

Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $116,205 to $209,169 annually.

New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually.

Washington, D.C. Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $105,641 to $190,154 annually.

Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $96,038 to $209,169 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
