Job Title: Assistance, Ticket Operations and Analytics

Department: Revenue Generation

Reports to: Manager, Ticket Operations and Analytics

Hours: Office time maximum of 21 hours per week

Term: August 19, 2024 to April 26, 2025

The Top Shelf:

The Ticket Operations and Analytics Assistant position will be responsible for supporting the team generating revenue for the Rockford IceHogs. The ideal candidate will be highly energetic and self-motivated.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Support the Ticket Operations and Analytics Department via the following:
    • Assist in processing and distributing paid and complimentary ticket requests for the entire organization, including suite tickets, group tickets, full/partial season tickets, and individual game requests.
    • Collaborate with ticketing and marketing departments to compile email marketing lists.
    • Monitor and ensure the successful execution of all event details to guarantee complete accuracy including ticket prices, game dates, times, opponents and all related ticket text and information.
    • Creating and managing FEVO pages for IceHogs promotions.
  • Support various Analytics projects via the following:
    • Review and Preparation of Weekly Ticket Reports
    • Monitoring and maintaining organizational spreadsheets used for business analysis.
  • Each game day, presence in the BMO Center Box Office to support the ticket sales process and troubleshoot challenges
  • Maintain diligent and real-time Salesforce CRM entries.
  • Provide ticket inquiry phone support to Revenue Team as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Player Stats and Qualifications:

  • College degree and/or working towards a college degree.
  • Enthusiastic collaborator and belief that varying perspectives and contributors create an improved outcome.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to solve problems independently with customized solutions.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, CRM (Salesforce) and the internet.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster preferred.
  • Passion for sports and hockey.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as event schedule commands.
  • Ability to address, adapt to, and overcome challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • High attention to detail

The Team:

The Rockford IceHogs, founded in 1999 and members of the American Hockey League (AHL), is a premier organization and primary development affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Located in Rockford, IL, the Team calls the newly renovated BMO Center its home and offices in downtown Rockford, 401 E State Street.

As the longest running professional sports team in Rockford, the organization has developed a passionate local fan base and has set multiple attendance records over the years, while establishing a strong community presence.
