Position Summary

The role of the production operator is crucial within our manufacturing facility. The primary duty involves operating production machinery, while secondary responsibilities include managing warehouse logistics, as well as receiving and dispatching freight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate production machinery.
  • Achieve and maintain established production targets.
  • Handle paperwork for incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Receive and load freight for delivery.
  • Complete outbound freight documentation.
  • Assist with general maintenance of the facility.
  • Utilize forklifts for loading and storing pallets.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: The following qualifications are essential for this position.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.

Language Proficiency:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
