The Maintenance Technician/Painter is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Team in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities.

Maintenance Technician/Painter Job Responsibilities:

Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.Detailed painting and touch ups.Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base.Maintenance Technician/Painting Qualifications:Prior maintenance experience in property management strongly preferred, but not requiredPainting experience requiredProficient in unit turns and appliance repair is a plusExcellent customer service skillsStrong team playerWillingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projectsWeekends/listed schedule days are requiredMust have valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverageSupplies their own tools If you do not fully meet the qualifications listed above but feel you have the skills and experience to be able to be successful in this position we welcome your application Whether this or another position within Thrive, we would love to help you find the right role in our organization. Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day.
