Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

The purpose of the Maintenance Technician II is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community, in a manner consistent with Thrive's Values. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Technician II will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician II could assume all maintenance responsibilities.

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

Schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment and tools as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.Diagnoses and performs minor or routine maintenance and repairs within homes and throughout the property.Inspects and helps coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services.Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.Performs any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.Contributes to a positive team environment and happy resident base.Maintenance Technician Qualifications:At least 2+ years of maintenance experience in property management strongly preferred, but not requiredProficient in unit turns and appliance repair is a plusExcellent customer service skillsStrong team playerWillingness to learn and take initiative on tasks and projectsMust have valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage If you do not fully meet the qualifications listed above but feel you have the skills and experience to be able to be successful in this position we welcome your application Whether this or another position within Thrive, we would love to help you find the right role in our organization.
