About the Role

ABM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Respond to and resolve equipment failures and other maintenance-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure that all work performed by the department meets the highest standards.
  • Energy Conservation: Develop and implement energy conservation programs to reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to team members, and lead by example to promote a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive operations experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: As required, the highest-level relevant state/local license for maintenance and/or HVAC plus universal level refrigerant recovery license.
  • Skills: Strong employee relation skills, coaching skills, and training skills; ability to work with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; computer skills and building automation systems experience required.
