Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Engineer who will be responsible for conducting modeling and simulation and performance analysis activities for a new program. The candidate must have experience in system and sensor modeling, both for the items to be modeled, and the synthetic modeled environments used to stimulate the simulated hardware. The M&S Engineer must be able to work with subsystem and SW engineers to integrate MATLAB models, C++ models, and tactical code into the simulations. The M&S Engineer must be proficient in C++, MATLAB, and preferably Matlab. The candidate must have good communication skills and must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

• Active Secret Clearance

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in: Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Systems Engineering, Physics, or a STEM-related degree program.

C++ / Python / MATLAB programming experience.

Must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance to start. (Must be a US Citizen to be able to obtain a clearance).

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
