Key Responsibilities- Fabrication and Assembly: Fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of simulation equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify opportunities for equipment improvement and enhancement. Document all production order activities, including quality control steps, and maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications accurately and comprehensively.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree not required.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment fabrication and assembly. Maintenance and repair experience a plus but not required. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
