Overview:

This role is integral to the corporate technical team, serving as a senior technical authority in specialized areas relevant to customer solutions.

The ideal candidate will engage directly with clients as the project lead while also taking on the role of a hands-on technical developer for both hardware and software solutions.


Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance sensor effects across various disciplines including Radar, Optical, Weather, and Materials, utilizing the company's suite of real-time software tools.
- Customize existing software to align with client specifications, create interfaces for customer hardware/software, and innovate new functionalities to fulfill client needs or corporate objectives.
- Lead and support research and development initiatives aimed at addressing unique requirements from U.S. Government clients.


Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD, MS, or BS) in Physics, Engineering, Optics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

Sensor Expertise:
- Proficiency in EO, IR, Hyperspectral, LADAR, LIDAR, RADAR (including ISAR/SAR, RBGM, DBS, SSS), and Sonar technologies.
- Experience with GPU, CUDA, or real-time ray-tracing programming.
- Strong software development skills in C and C++.
- Solid mathematical and algebraic skills.
- Self-motivated, productive, and capable of working independently in a remote team environment.
- Eligibility for U.S. Government security clearance.
- Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience programming graphics processing units.
- Knowledge of optical sensors, radar systems, infrared optics, and thermal infrared technologies.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in mathematics, physics, or engineering modeling.
- Hardware development experience.
- Strong background in Linux systems.
- Proficient technical proposal writing skills.


Relocation assistance is available, or candidates may work remotely within the U.S. if they have the necessary infrastructure in place.
