Job Overview

Position Summary

  • Design and maintain software applications across Linux and Windows environments.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to deliver superior software solutions.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a full course of study in an accredited institution with a Technical or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline. 11 to 16 years of relevant experience is required. Experience in simulation system software development and/or testing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming.
  • Experience with the Qt framework for cross-platform application development.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows applications and hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Prior experience on Department of Defense (DoD) programs is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in test documentation (Requirements Traceability Matrix, Acceptance Test Plan, Use Case, etc.) is essential.
  • System design documentation experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of software testing and debugging methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence is required.
Cognitive Requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for documentation and team interactions.
  • Attention to detail in documentation and work performance.
  • Strong computer skills, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems critically.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally.
