LabCorp is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join our team in Portland, OR. This is a great opportunity to show your polished administrative skills while working with a renowned company

The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative duties for a forensic drug testing department. The primary duty will be to serve as the department records custodian and assist our legal requests. There will also be other clerical duties, and tasks to help support operations. At times, this position will handle and assist with specific projects as assigned by manager.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from M-F, 8 am -4:30 pm

Location: 1225 North East 2nd Avenue, Portland OR

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all administrative duties as assigned.
  • Manage multiple requests with the ability to prioritize and exercise sound judgement
  • Utilize and work in multiple databases, i.e. Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Respond to all inquiries via fax, email, or phone in a timely manner.
  • Client calls, handling specimens, collaborate with multiple departments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Previous experience in administrative duties and customer service role required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond
  • Must be courteous with strong customer service orientation
  • Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
  • Detail oriented, ability to work in a team environment, time management.
