Boston, Massachusetts, United States Boston University Full time

The Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) is seeking applicants for multiple Associate and Full Professor faculty positions in Climate Change and Health, one of the five strategic directions articulated on the School's Strategy Map. Scholarly activity in this area seeks to identify and reduce health threats posed by climate change across the lifespan, advance equitable solutions that prioritize the needs of those who are most affected by climate change, and/or support communities to better prepare for future threats to their well-being. Given this multidisciplinary school-wide search, successful candidates may be appointed to any of the School's six academic departments: Biostatistics, Community Health Sciences, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Global Health, or Health Law, Policy & Management. Successful candidates will also be affiliated with the BUSPH Center for Climate and Health.

BUSPH believes that the cultural and social diversity of our faculty, staff, and students is vitally important to the distinction and excellence of our research and academic programs. We seek colleagues who will support our institutional commitment to ensuring BU is inclusive, equitable, diverse, and a place where all constituents can thrive. We are proud to be the first American university to award a Ph.D. to a woman, and we continue our tradition of educating a diverse and talented student body. The Boston University School of Public Health pursues a detailed plan for fostering a diverse and inclusive community recognizing that diversity of experience deepens the intellectual endeavor.
