  • Provide clinical and public health expertise to Unilever North America's Incident Management Team directing pandemic response
  • Strengthen Unilever North America's long-term vision and strategy for health and wellbeing, driving the execution and medical directorship of this strategy across the US and Canada
  • Serve as a visible advocate across the enterprise to reinforce the strategic importance of health and wellbeing
  • Leverage insights from available data sources to understand the health and wellbeing needs of a diverse employee population and develop effective and innovative solutions for health risk reduction across different populations
  • Lead North America's health protection and health promotion efforts, in partnership with the Safety, Supply Chain, HR, and Unilever Global Health teams
  • Ensure that all occupational health statutory requirements around health hazards and medical surveillance are met at all sites
  • Partner with Unilever's Global Health team to develop, implement, and continuously improve Unilever's clinical guidelines across all sites
  • Partner with Unilever's Global Health team to implement the electronic health record and digital wellbeing platform for North America
  • Partner with Unilever's Global Health team to design and implement a data lake and advanced analytics capabilities to demonstrate clinical outcomes
  • Support Unilever's Health Benefits team to enable cross-functional solutions and promote efficient, effective, high-value healthcare solutions
  • Manage third party service providers, holding suppliers accountable for service quality, service level agreements, and continuous improvement

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution required
  • Strong preference for Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational or Public Health background
  • Minimum 15 years clinical and healthcare executive experience in large organizations; experience with global multinational employers strongly desired
  • Experience with electronic medical records, telehealth, digital wellbeing point solutions, and advanced healthcare analytics
  • Experience with medical and pharmacy benefits
