About the Role

The Director of Nursing is a key leadership position at SCA Health, responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care delivery in our facilities. This role assumes responsibility as a department lead of the Operating Room, Preoperative, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) departments.

The successful candidate will provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and facility policies and procedures. They will demonstrate respect for colleagues and leadership, developing positive working relationships within departments.

The Director of Nursing will provide direction to others that is clear, concise, and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas of the facility. They will recognize legal policy limits and individual practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and facility policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate respect for colleagues and leadership, developing positive working relationships within departments.
  • Provide direction to others that is clear, concise, and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas of the facility.
  • Recognize legal policy limits and individual practice.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in nursing required, a bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current RN licensure.
  • 2 years Nursing Management experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
  • Successful completion of ACLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
Compensation

The salary for this role is between $130,000.00/Yr and $145,000.00/Yr.
