We are looking for a Clinical Manager to manage our clinical staff at our NCR Pulmonology Practice in Washington, D.C. The Clinical Manager reports to the Practice Administrator at a comprehensive, multi-specialty site. The Clinical Manager is responsible for assisting the Practice Administrator in the daily clinical operations of the health center with an emphasis on managing clinical staff including budget management, scheduling, safety, environment of care, maintain adequate clinical supply level and the hiring, supervision, staffing, evaluation and discipline of Human Resources. This position assists with tasks to comply with various pay for performance programs such as value based purchasing, patient centered medical home, and meaningful use and support of our patient centered mission.

Shift: Exempt - Full-time 40 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Completion of High School required. Preferred graduation from licensed practical nursing program (LPN) or graduation from an accredited Medical Assistance Program. Five or more years of specific applicable MA experience may be substituted for formal training program provided eligibility for Medical Assistant Certification/Registration exam. Some college or continuing education courses preferred.
  • Valid LPN license in the State of Maryland or successful completion of the Medical Assistant Certification Exam. Certified Medical Assistant required successful completion of the CMA, RMA, NCMA or NRCMA, Medical Assistant Certification, exam within 3 months of hire.
  • Two years of healthcare management experience with direct supervision of staff is required. Two years' experience must be in an ambulatory care setting. Must demonstrate a record of increasing job responsibility linked to accomplishments in health care management.

Salary Range: Minimum $28.96 per hour - Maximum $50.70 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
